I grew up outside.
The camera came later.
Twenty years of design and commercial photography. A lifetime spent in the wild. Photography became the way I bring those two halves together. Getting outside is how I recharge and find peace — the camera is just the excuse.

A rainy day, a third loop, and a fox family
It started as a rainy afternoon with nowhere to be. My wife Kate, our son, and I had a free few hours and needed to get out of the house. So we made the drive — about an hour and a half — to a national wildlife refuge on the Delaware shore.
